Through the BEA, local schools have the chance to arrange tours of nearby businesses, manufacturing plants, and industrial facilities. These tours provide students with a comprehensive view of a typical workday, aiming to spark their interest in various fields.
This can also be an alternative for hosting students when internships or job shadowing are not possible.
Businesses have the freedom to specify their preferences regarding the number of students involved, making sure that it is a tailored experience. Transportation to and from tour locations is the responsibility of individual schools.
