Science and industry tours are given by businesses to local students. The business will designate their preferences regarding grade level and number of students. The schools are individually responsible for arranging transportation to and from the tour locations.
The BEA offers students at local schools, an opportunity to tour local manufacturing and industrial facilities. By providing an opportunity for students to see a product developed from start to finish, it is our goal to spark an interest in the science and engineering field. Visiting a business/industry facility can help students make the link between the classroom and their future world.
